The Hardest Part Is Over

No more waiting, NovelliFans! New music Friday is here and the releases this week have me buzzing with excitement!!

MMR’s Track 1 of 2024

Following her recent collab with Toronto-based, SMR LVE, Christina moved westward to find her collaborators for today’s drop, ‘The Hardest Thing’, which is the first release of 2024 for Muse Music Records.

For this track she’s enlisted Alberta-based trio EpicFail, who previously released ‘Lose My Mind’ with Romany on Muse Music Euphoria AND ALOKIN a “leading figure in the trance and techno scene in Edmonton.” (Also in Alberta, Canada. )

As an Alberta girl, and former YEG resident myself, I was thrilled to discover that these gentlemen are from my neck of the woods, and have been happily following their journey on Insta as they celebrate the track’s release.

Features on Find Your Harmony Radio and Solarstone’s Pure Trance Radio are just two of the highlights this track has seen so far, and I’m excited to see where it will take them (and who might pick it up next.)

A State of Siskin

Switching to a track that HAS already seen play on A State of Trance (ep. 1107), the mighty Muse Music Management duo Siskin are back with their second remix of the year.

Also their second release of 2024 on Black Hole Recordings, the ladies’ 2023 track ‘Let Go’ has been freshly mixed by German producer and DJ, Dennis Sheperd.

The track was also debuted earlier this week, on the same episode of Solarstone’s Pure Trance Radio that featured ‘The Hardest Thing’. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if Siskin adds it to their next guest mix on A State of Trance.

Even More Muse Music Magic

And last, but certainly not least, today also sees the release of Sue McLaren’s latest collab with Paul van Dyk, ‘Love Is Enough’, which is being released on Paul’s label, Vandit Records.

From what I could find on 1001Tracklists.com, this is the 10th(!!!) collab between Sue and Paul since the release of ‘The Sun After Heartbreak’ with ARTY back in 2012.

I for one think that’s call for a celebration.
