NOMO FOMO

A recap you were promised & oh the recap you’re about to get! 🤩

All right NovelliFans, are you ready?

As promised in last week’s post, along with the most recent MMM & Co. releases, we have some concerts to recap, so let’s relive the magic, shall we?

⭐⭐⭐

Prague Perfection

First up is the second show of Christina’s It’s Not Me, It’s You! Summer Tour, Phase 1, which took place at EPIC, the most modern club in Prague, on Saturday, May 18, and featured guest performances from both Susie Ledge (#UnforgivableDuet) AND Sue McLaren (#LandslideLive).

As with the kickoff performance in Malta earlier this month, you had to be there to get the full Epic experience, but thankfully the ladies all shared shots from the show on their socials, and the club put together an entire gallery of photos taken by EDM & event photographer Pavel Kral. The album includes a bunch of beautiful performance shots, alongside candids of the attendees and snaps of Christina meeting with fans.

I’ve picked out a few of my favourites, but feel free to head over and scroll through to see if there are any shots you would have selected instead.

And that’s actually not all, Fam!

One lovely human, who goes by CZECH TRANCE MASTER on YouTube, was kind enough to upload the clips he took from the audience, and even agreed to let me use some of his footage in a fan edit that I hope to have ready for you soon!

In the meantime, I’ve collected all the clips he uploaded into a playlist and did my best to organize them into an approximation of the set (mostly based on camera angles and any info he included in the video descriptions).

I’ve embedded the full playlist here if you’d like to see all the clips, or you can click through to pick and choose individual videos, whichever you prefer. Either way, I hope you enjoy the footage as much as I did.

And a big thanks to CZECH TRANCE MASTER for shooting (and sharing) it to begin with.

Linneyland Is Booming

While 3/4 of the MMM artists were taking Prague by storm on Saturday, & Co. fave Linney also had a MAJOR weekend, appearing at a number of events at EDC Las Vegas.

On Thursday, May 16, she made her DJ debut(!!!) at ZAI Dance & Night Club; her set included a live performance of ā€˜Echoes’, her new track with Hektor Mass & ILVS, which (because of timezones) dropped on that same night.

This was followed by not one but two(!!!) performances with Steve Aoki, including joining him during his sunrise set in front of untold thousands of people on opening day @ kineticFIELD, where they premiered their cover of the Cascada classic ā€˜Everytime We Touch’.

A clip of the performance that EDC shared on their Tiktok the next day went viral, and at the time of writing has amassed 1.4 MILLION views, plus a whole host of comments wanting to know when the track will be released.

Unfortunately, there is no official drop date just yet, but in the meantime, Linney shared a clip of the performance on her YouTube channel, along with a snippet of the cover’s origin story over on her Instagram.

Add to that the fact that she and Spencer Newell dropped ā€˜A Little More Me’, which they co-wrote with Casey Cook, on Muse Music Records this past Friday, and it’s never been a better time to be a resident of Linneyland*. So if you haven’t joined the party yet, load up your favourite music platform and start building you ā€˜Linney List’ today! I promise you wont regret it.

Click the links to grab ā€˜A Little More Me’, and get started rn, wherever you like to listen.

*Linneyland is the name of Linney’s FREE broadcast channel on Instagram, where she shares even more bts, sneak peaks and first looks at what she’s working on. So if those things thrill you as much as they do me, I highly recommend checking it out. (FYI: You’ll need to open the link on your phone with the Instagram app installed.)

Sarah Everywhere All At Once

Someone else who took EDCLV 2024 by storm was Linney’s co-writer, close friend and self-proclaimed ā€œproud momā€, Sarah de Warren, who was spotted scoring footage of Linney at her premiere DJ set, before she herself rocked the stage at quantumVALLEY with Giuseppe Ottaviani, performing their recent smash with Gareth Emery, ā€˜Carry On’.

Sarah also posted a clip from on-stage at cosmicMEADOW, where she was warmly welcomed during the WORSHIP set, as the collective featuring Sub Focus, Dimension, 1991 and her recent ā€˜Out My Head’ collaborator Culture Shock, engaged in their first ever four-man B2B.

The recap video she later posted also showed several clips of her songs being featured in additional sets, including ā€˜Reading My Mind’ during Odd Mob & OMNOM @ HYPERBEAM at stereoBLOOM and an as yet unidentified track during Maddix’s set at kineticFIELD, as well as an additional live performance of her track ā€˜Never Surrender’ with Adventure Club & Codeko, at Codeko’s set at houseofDUNKIN.

In addition to all that, Sarah also dropped a brand new track on Friday, a mainstage collab with Jason Ross & Kill The Noise, called ā€˜Under Pressureā€˜, which was co-written with Jordan Lees and is coming to us on Seven Lions’ label Ophelia Records.

According to Jason Ross’ announcement post, there’s some question as to whether the track qualifies as trance or dubstep, so feel free to give it a spin and see what you think.

The Stars Aligned

Rounding out our trio of & Co. artist who made a splash at EDCLV 2024, Adam Pearce, Linney’s recent collaborator on ā€˜Champagne Eyes’, unleashed his melodic bass & dubstep skills during a set at the BeatBox Artcar installation on Friday, May 17.

Over the weekend, Adam shared clips of the performance on his socials and a few days later uploaded the entire set to his Soundcloud page, if you’re eager to see what you missed (or want to listen again if you were one of the lucky ones who caught it live. )

And just like his fellow EDC & Co. stars, Linney and Sarah, Adam also dropped a fresh collab this Friday past, with singer, songwriter and vocal producer Dani King, on Slander’s label, Heaven Sent.

Co-written with Edward Nelson, Jonathan David, Max Hurrell & Rebecca Henn, ā€˜Align’ is Adam & Dani’s attempt to ā€œcreate an atmosphere around the song, evoking the euphoric and human feeling of connection.ā€

Sound like your jam? If so, you’re in luck, because ā€˜Align’ is ready and waiting for you on all major platforms. So pick your fave and immerse yourself in the atmosphere now.

Music 3.0

Wrapping up this week’s post is a drop from EpicFail that was released exclusively on the streaming service Gala Music on Friday, May 17.

Nothing short of fierce, ā€˜Chaos’ is an explosive track that absolutely lives up to its name, so it comes as no surprise that it climbed all the way to the top of the Gala Music charts only two days after its release.

With Gala being a blockchain platform, I’m still figuring the ins and outs of purchasing over there, but what I can say for certain at the time of writing is that you can stream ā€˜Chaos’, along with the other tracks EpicFail has released on the platform simply by signing up for a free account with your name and email address.

Interestingly, it seems that even the tracks that are listed as ā€˜Sold Out’ can still be streamed, which is lovely, although I’m not entirely sure how that works either. Def need to sit down with the Gala whitepaper and nerd out for a bit.

But if that doesn’t sound like your fave way to spend a Tuesday, never fear; here’s the direct link for you to pop on over to Gala and take ā€˜Chaos’ for a spin.

How’s that for a week’s worth of music, NovelliFans? Pretty epic, don’t you think?

Well believe it or not Fam, we’re just getting started! Be sure to come back next week for the skinny on even more new music from Linney, plus fresh tracks from her ā€˜Champagne Eyes’ co-writer Jamison Fox & at least 2 of the MMM Queens who took Prague in a blaze of glory! Possibly all three!

As always, thanks for stopping by!
