You may think a two-track New Music Friday would mean we’re in for a shorter Muse Music Monday post this week, and that, NovelliFans, is where you’d be wrong.

MMM & Co. have been busy, so let’s jump right in.

Mix Masters

On top of the delightful duo of fresh tracks that dropped on Friday, we got not one, but two new releases from Christina.

First up, she was the featured guest mix on episode 749 of Enhanced Sessions – Hosted by Farius. The mix was very well received both live and in the comments, and it was super fun to see how delighted everyone was when she showed up in the chat. (Present company included! )

Later that same evening, Christina, ALOKIN, EpicFail & Muse Music Records released the official lyric video for ‘The Hardest Thing’, which, at the time of writing, has already had 3.3K views after only 2 days.

On top of that, the A State of Trance Top 1000 Livestream started on Saturday afternoon on Armin van Buuren’s YouTube channel, and so far we’ve seen entries from MMM artists at #989, #952, #878, #849, #836, #721 and possibly more that I may have missed.

I’ll put up a complete list once the party’s wrapped with the very special LIVE Top 50 episode of ASOT, airing on April 25 from 6PM to 10PM CET.

And if you’re looking for EVEN MORE music to start your week off right, the self-proclaimed “international button pusher of emotional dance music” and premiere SISKIN remixer of 2024, Maratone, treated us to a set from his own private garden on Sunday, complete with tracks from Miss Monique, Orca Sound & Vivienne Chi and of course his recent release with E.V. Palmer, and his sublime remix of ‘Always You’.

Anticipation Station

In addition to the mountain of mixes that dropped this weekend, we also received word of some exciting projects that the MMMFam has in the works.

First up, Susie Ledge announced the pending release of “a beautiful collaboration” with Finley Brückner, co-written with Gary Dillon that will be dropping from Armada Music in the coming weeks.

*Fun Fact: Gary also co-wrote ‘Lifeline’ with Susie, Modera, Damaui and fellow singer-songwriter, Yasmin Jane.

The following day we were also gifted with a more mysterious, yet equally magnificent update from Reigns, who has a new visual project is in the works, and with this as the preview I for one can’t wait to see the results.

Of course, I’ll do my best to keep you up-to-date as these projects develop, but if you’re not already following Susie & Reigns online, check out the links above and below to get updates direct from the source.

Given the way the algorithm works these days, you never know what you’ll see and what you’ll miss! So the more sources the better, in my book.

Charting Tracks & Features

Finally it’s time for a quick trip around the charts to see which of this month’s releases simply cannot be stopped!

At the time of writing, ‘The Hardest Thing’ and ‘Love Is Enough’ (Shine Mix) are both celebrating their third week(!!!) on the Beatport Top 100 Trance (Main Floor) chart at #71 & #38 respectively, while ‘Lonely In Love’ is seated at #31 on the Hype 100 Trance (Main Floor).

The ‘Love Is Enough’ three track single is also currently sitting at #46 on the Beatport Top 100 Releases Trance (Main Floor) chart after reaching #4(!!!) back on April 11, 2024.

Meanwhile, BARELO’s fresh mix of ‘Lifelline’ by Susie Ledge, Modera & Damaui is hanging on to its #72 spot on the Beatport Top 100 Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass chart, and has recently passed 2000(!!!) streams on Spotify.

Last, but absolutely not least, ‘Baby Believe’ by Cash Only, Reigns & Dee Adam entered the Beatport Top 100 House chart at #95 last week and saw additional features on Krystal Roxx Wh0 Play Sessions 120 & Hutch’s aptly named Music To Put Your Lipstick On To, Episode 19.

The track also claimed the #4 spot on Sam Divine’s ‘Saved By The Record’ playlist on Beatport and the #2 spot on her Traxsource list.
