Meet Your Next Obsession
Last weekâs honourable mentions meet the latest fresh drops in another mammoth &Co. roundup. Come meet your next obsession.

We had a dynamite duo of drops this week, NovelliFans, plus a few honourable mentions & one extra special track from someone whoâs been a fave of mine for a LONG time.
Iâm excited to hear which one(s) youâll be adding to your playlists, so letâs dig in!

#Obsessed
To kick things off this week we have a brand new collab from Linney and Dutch DJ & EDM producer, Dyro.
Co-written with Jeff Schoeny & coming to us on Dim Mak Records, âObsessionâ is the duoâs first official release, and makes for our second bass house feature here on the blog â following Sarah de Warrenâs collab with Odd Mob, OMNOM & HYPERBEAM, âReading My Mindâ, which dropped April 26.
Prior to âObsessionâsâ release, Linney announced that the track is being featured as a sound on Instagram & TikTok, and challenged her audience to create a video sharing themselves doing something they are obsessed with.
Linney has already shared one of hers, and Iâm currently working on mine, so if you feel inclined to join the fun, be sure to tag her @linney when you put yours up. (& if youâd like to tag me too @tanyabeacurates, Iâd love to see what youâre obsessed with. )
If youâre not the content creation type, or you want to check out the track first for a little inspiration, âObsessionâ is waiting for you, with its âspicy drums, electro-tinged drops, and infectious spoken word vocalsâ wherever you like to listen.

Summer Lovinâ
Next up we have a brand new track from last weekâs Linney re-mixer, Maratone, who this time has teamed up with Hong Kong-based vocalist, Anita Tatlow, for his Sekora debut, âFeels Like Summerâ.
Dubbed the label âwhere nature meets electronic musicâ, Sekora seems like a perfect fit for Maratone, given his masterful incorporation of ambient sounds into his tracks, like those he featured in his Abora Chillout release, âFinding Foluxâ / âVoices of SommarĂžyâ, which also dropped back on April 26. (Itâs giving Tolkien meets Paradise vibes if thatâs your jam.)
If you havenât heard âFeels Like Summerâ yet, Iâm happy to report that the track is even more beautiful than I expected â and I expected a LOT, I mean look at that album cover!
Seriously tho, Fam, the vibes on this one are perfect for those breezy summer evenings when the heat of the sun has worn off but the light is still giving pure magic. Or you could pair it with Susie Ledge & Finley BrĂŒcknerâs organic house bop âCloserâ and youâve got the beginnings of a top notch âDay Partyâ playlist.
Whatever the hour, you can catch the âFeels Like Summerâ vibe on your favourite platform now.

Dennis Does It Again
Another top-notch MMM mix-master, Dennis Sheperd, who added his âfit for a Bourne movieâ twist to a remix of Siskinâs âLet Goâ that dropped back on April 5, also recently released a fresh solo track on Black Hole Recordings called âMuchieâ.
Inspired by the SOFIYA NZAU and Zerb track, âMwakiâ, Sheperd paired a moody melody & vigorous beat with ethereal African vocals to create a trance track that is nothing short of hypnotic.
âMuchieâ is also one of four(!!!) MMM & Co. tracks that were featured in episode 404 of Andrew Rayelâs Find Your Harmony Radioshow, alongside âSerenityâ, Christinaâs latest collab with SMR LVE, âSolitaireâ by Susie Ledge & Yelow & âUnder Pressureâ by Jason Ross, Kill The Noise & Sarah de Warren.
The track has also seen play on JESâ Unleash the Beat Mix Show 604, Ferry Corstenâs Resonation Radio 184, Bobinaâs Russia Goes Clubbing 816 & many more.
If youâre looking for new tracks to build out your âUnique Soundsâ playlist, âMuchieâ is definitely an invigorating contender that I recommend getting lost in for a nice long while. #onrepeat

Dance Floor Calling
Our next & Co. entry for the week is another Gala Music exclusive from EpicFail called âCallingâ.
Full disclosure, Fam, I have not done the research I told you I would do when EpicFail dropped their last Gala track, âChaosâ back in May, so I have no additional information to share about the platform, or exactly how block-chain music works from a consumer standpoint ⊠yet. (The Gala Music white paper is still in my reading list tho, so I hope to change that soon.)
However, I can assure you that like all the other tracks EpicFail has released on the platform to date (including the ones listed as sold out), âCallingâ can be streamed in its entirety, by signing up with your email for a free Gala Music account.
With itâs âelectrifying vibesâ and âcaptivating vocalsâ âCallingâ is def another feather in EpicFailâs cap, so if youâve been waiting to add Gala to your rotation of music streaming apps, Iâd say now is the time.
Head over to preview the track (no sign-up required) and let me know if you agree.

Waiting On A Sad Girl
Did you feel like something was missing last week, Fam? If so, youâve got killer instincts, because one of the tracks I wasnât able to fit into our previous roundup was the latest from the exceedingly prolific Sarah de Warren.
& honestly, at this point is it even really a week without fresh Sarah?
To get us back on track, SdW has teamed up with âmelodic EDM, heavy bass, and hardstyleâ DJ & producer, Naeleck & his fellow French dance pop producer, Coopex for the âsad girl hardstyle lullabyâ, âHouse of Cardsâ.
Co-written with Kevin Pasco during a meetup in Paris, and coming to us on Helix Records (the v. same label that released Linneyâs #1 smash, âDaisiesâ back in Februrary) âHouse of Cardsâ is exactly as Sarah described it, an infectious mix of hardstyle beats & soft, sad girl vocals that will lull you into a dream-state that gets deeper with every listen.

Fam, Meet Robyn
Our final track of the week is one Iâm extra excited about, because itâs a release from someone Iâve considered a dear friend for going on 10 years now!!!
Robyn Cage is a Utah-based singer-songwriter with two full-length albums and a double EP under her belt, who is currently on tour as the soprano backing vocalist for Brit Floyd â the Liverpool-based Pink Floyd tribute band, who are also known as the Worldâs Greatest Pink Floyd Show.
Robynâs also deep in the trenches of writing her first full-length rock opera called âBLACK FRIDAY, The Musical!â, from which sheâs already released one track, the cheeky yet revealing romp, âRetail Therapyâ.
Given how busy sheâs been with touring & the musical, I wasnât sure when I was going to get to feature a fresh release from Robyn here on the blog, so Iâm super stoked that the opportunity has presented itself so soon!
& for this delightful circumstance we have internationally renowned, âtrailblazing musicianâ Aural State to thank, for her remix of Robynâs award-winning song, âWarriorâ, which was written by Robynâs frequent collaborator and band-mate, Callie Crofts and is coming to us on Aural Stateâs own label, Threshold.
With the heightened isolation of the songâs evocative guitar line and amplification of vocals and strings right before the drop, Aural State has transformed the original track into an atmospheric progressive vibe that beautifully illustrates the songâs message of embracing your own unique form of self-expression.
So whaddya say, Fam? How about we show Robyn & Aural State a warm NovelliFans welcome by giving the âWarriorâ (Aural State Remix) a spin?

& if you enjoy the mix & would like to hear the original, I highly recommend giving the video a watch. Earlier this year it was ânamed a winner in the Zepstone International Film Festivalâ and like all of Robynâs collabs with her frequent director, Bryce Johnson, itâs an audio-visual feast that youâll be glad to have spent 3.5 minutes with. Promise!
*Fun fact: The first co-star Robyn encounters in the video is the songâs writer, Callie Crofts, who also happens to be a BA producer & bass player too!
How âbout that NovelliFans? Another fab week of releases, donât ya think?
Let me know which one(s) youâve got on repeat â or the one(s) youâre most excited to check out â in the comments below.
& be sure to come back next week for fresh tracks from Cash Only and Sarah de Warren (Ofc ), plus the unveiling of my second fan edit â featuring the 3 MMM Queens who recently took Prague by storm.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
